— I am an inclusive media consultant, producer, and facilitator, passionate about exploring the intersections of neuroscience, media, and social impact. By leveraging the power of storytelling & media, I am to increase dialogue and fight stigma around mental health, particularly for queer, Asian/mixed-race, and disability communities.

I founded Midori Story, LLC where I lead the creation of inclusive media and cultural awareness trainings curated for creators and companies to ensure authentic media representation.

Portrait of Sheena Brevig, a person with short hair smiling wearing a blazer over a black t-shirt.

“As a queer multi-racial person, I’ve always found myself caught between worlds: straight/gay, art/science, disabled/abled, Japan/USA, etc. I often felt alone until I realized many of us feel we don’t fully belong to one world because we’re all complex layered humans that don’t fit into society’s boxes. That’s why I am constantly trying to break down systemic barriers through science and art, to foster belonging and create a more inclusive world.”
